Rebecca Porter, L.Ac
Rebecca was born in Columbia, South Carolina. After graduating high school she moved to Los Angeles, California, receiving a Bachelors degree in Psychology with a minor in nutrition from California State University. She then attended Dongguk Royal University of Los Angeles, while at the same time doing extra training in internal medicine. Rebecca interned for a year with Dr. Gary Archer, a licensed acupuncturist and doctor of Oriental and Homeopathic medicine with over 30 years experience. Having accumulated over a thousand hours of clinical and herbal training, Rebecca graduated in 2009. Since then she has focused on ailments such as ADHD and infantile and childhood allergies as well as the vast amount of internal medical issues at any age. Rebecca’s training in massage, Tui Na, and orthopedics help her to structurally balance the body’s natural asymmetry, which is then applied to pain management and relief. Acupuncture is an excellent way to relieve stress, fatigue, depression, and other mood disorders, all of which she has treated with great success.
