My Acupuncture practice in Lawrenceville, GA.

Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (AOM) is a traditional ancient medicine which, in my view, is not an alternative to anything. It has been used successfully to treat millions of patients over thousands of years. In fact, many Asian countries have integrated AOM into the hospital setting many years ago. All the major hospitals in the U.S. like Duke, Harvard, UNC – CH have opened Integrative Medical Facilities in just the last couple of years.

I have had the opportunity to be a part of this integrative approach to health and wellness for over ten years, working at a Chicago Hospital and teaching at a Acupuncture College for several years. At Healthy Body and Soul, I offer my many years of clinical experience in integrative healthcare to help patients with acute and chronic conditions. Patients receive a virtually painless approach to acupuncture, coupled with techniques of moxibustion, gua-sha and electrostimulation

I also prescribe herbal medicine. The herbal prescriptions are blends of 8-15 herbs, and are made in the U.S. The blends are more potent and powerful than single herb pills. Nutritional and dietary consultations, especially for people with weight issues, are also provided. All of this can occur while working closely with your other healthcare providers. Please go to our website, healthybodysoul.net for more information. I encourage you to call today to see how my services can help you. The fees at my clinic are relatively low so that the cost of care does not hinder you on your path to wellness. I can always be reached directly at 678.44.7962. I will be happy to answer any questions that you may have.

Yours in Health,

Leena Sikand Cook, L.Ac., C.H.
